Rainbow Preschool proudly operates across three locations, making high-quality early education accessible to more families in our community.
Rainbow Preschool
Rainbow Preschool Our main centre located in Patton Lane, offering 59 places per day, operates Monday to Friday. Children enjoy a beautifully landscaped natural playground, play-based indoor and outdoor learning environments, and above-ratio educators who exceed qualification requirements.
We have six sessions throughout the week, split between three classrooms.
5 Year Olds:
We offer 2 x three-day sessions that have a capacity for 20 children each. They are designed for children who must attend Kindergarten the following year, supporting a smooth transition to school.
Session options for our 5-year-olds are:
Red Room:
Monday to Wednesday 9:00am to 3:15pm
and Yellow Room: Wednesday to Friday 9:00am to 3:15pm.
4 Year Olds:
We offer 3 x two-day sessions that have a capacity for 19-20 children each.
These sessions are for children who have the option to attend Kindergarten the following year (born between January - July) giving families flexibility based on their child's age and readiness.
Session options for our 4-year-olds are:
Green Room: Monday and Tuesday 8:00am to 3:30pm,
Yellow Room: Monday and Tuesday 8:00am to 3:30pm
and Red Room: Thursday and Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm
3 Year Olds:
We offer a shortened three-day session that has capacity for 19 children. This session is to offer an introduction to preschool, giving children their first experience of group learning, play and social interaction in a nurturing environment, helping to gently prepare them for the next stage of their preschool journey.
The session option for our 3 year olds is
Blue Room: Wednesday to Friday 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Extended Care is available at a cost outside your child's enrolled session time.
Availability is between 8:00am and 4:00pm. You will be required to complete a form at the beginning of the year to inform your child's educators. Extended care fees are invoiced at the end of each term during the school holiday period. Please note extended care is not available for the Blue Room session.
Rainbow Mobile Preschool - Railway Town
Our Railway Town Mobile Preschool operates Monday and Tuesday 8:00am to 3:30pm, with 21 places for 4 to 5 year olds available. It is located in the lane behind Railway Town Public School and is offered to children who will attend Railway Town Public School the following year to help children become familiar with their future school environment and supports a smooth, confident transition to school.
Rainbow Mobile Preschool - North
Our North Mobile Preschool operates Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm, with 21 places for 4 to 5 year olds available. It is located within the grounds of North Public School, with priority given to children who will attend Kindergarten at North Public School the following year, to support a familiar and positive transition into kindergarten.
